Safety

Three Types of Safety Features Offer Higher Level of Risk Control

SAFE mode for preventing abnormal pressure buildup While the discharge valve is closed, the liquid transfer force is controlled to prevent pressure buildup. *To use the SAFE mode, set the stroke length to 100%. *The SAFE mode is not available for PW-200, boiler type and High-Pressure type. *The function is disabled at the factory default setting. Relief valve function for releasing abnormal pressure When the pressure exceeds the setting value, the relief valve operates automatically. *Standard type pump discharge pressure:0.7MPa. Boiler-type pump discharge pressure:1.5MPa. *The Relief valve function cannot be selected for SUS type, high-viscosity type, and High-Pressure type pumps. Alarm function for notifying abnormal pressure When abnormal pressure builds up due to clogging of the pipes or while the discharge valve is closed, an alarm is emitted to warn this condition. *When the alarm function is used together with the SAFE mode, an alarm is emitted for pressure lower than the normal pressure. *This function is disabled at the factory default setting.

Energy-Saving Characteristics

In ECO mode, the running status is constantly monitored to automatically reduce electricity usage when running at low pressure.. Previous models supplied constant electricity regardless of discharge pressure.

Functions Common to All Models

Manual Operation

Stroke count control
Can be set in units of a single stroke.
Discharge amount control (PW only)
Can be set in units of 0.1mL/min.

External Operation/Stop Control

The pump can be turned ON/OFF via external signal input.

Alarm Output

Use with a level measurement instrument and a discharge amount checker to generate an alarm when an abnormality occurs.

Synchronized Pulse Control

A single pulse can be generated for a single pump action. The generated pulse can be entered to a second pump for synchronized operation.

  • Ex.)
    Control can be set so that in response to a single stroke at A, there are three strokes at B, two strokes at C, etc.

Signal Distribution

The connection below can be used without a signal distributor.

Pulse Signals

This unit can be connected in parallel to multiple pumps.

Analog signal 110Ω × 2pumps *The pumps operate in a linked manner. To operate pumps separately, install a signal distributor.

Pulse Input Proportional Control

Setting example:n=3 The pump is operated 1 time per 3 times of input pulse.

Pulse Frequency Dividing

The pump is operated one time per n times of input pulse.

Pulse Magnitude

The pump is operated n times per each input pulse.

Analog Input Proportional Control

Automatic Operation

Receives an analog input signal (4 to 20 mA) and operates within the range of 0 to 300 strokes/min based on set values (target value and proportional band).

Control of Timer Type

Interval Mode

Turns operation ON/OFF at a set interval.

ON time and OFF time can each be set to any single pattern in the range of 1 to 9999 minutes.

Setting example: ON period:5 minutes OFF period:3 minutes

DAY Mode

Automatic operation starts every day at the same ON/OFF time set. Programs can be set in units of 1 minute within the range of 0:00 to 24:00 in a maximum of 9 patterns.

  • *
    Cannot be used in conjunction with WEEK mode.

Setting example: ON time:①1:00 ②6:30 ③11:30 ④17:15 OFF time:①5:00 ②10:30 ③15:15 ④21:15 When both interval mode and pulse operation are simultaneously set, the pump will operate in accordance with pulse frequency-division or pulse frequency-magnification setting within the ON time set for the DAY mode and interval mode.

WEEK Mode

Automatic operation starts every week at the same ON/OFF time and day set.

The program can be set to one pattern per each day of the week, and the ON time to a time within the range of 0:00 to 24:00 and the OFF time to a time within the range of 0:00 to 48:00 in units of 1 minute.

    Cannot be used in conjunction with DAY mode.

When the pulse proportional control operation is set, the pump will operate in accordance with the pulse frequency-division or pulse frequency-magnification set for this operatioin. When both interval mode and pulse proportional control operation are simultaneously set, the pump will operate in accordance with pulse frequency-division or pulse frequency-magnification set for this operation.*1 *1 The number of strokes will be the value set in each program.
